System file searching:
CADplot uses a unique, but logical method when reading and searching for any of its system files.
First it will search in the Application Root folder, then the DomainSettings folder, then the ProjectSettings folder and finally in the Current drawing folder.
As it finds new information in a file it progressively appends and over-writes the previous information.
Support file searching:
CADplot searches for each type of support file by first looking in the Current drawing folder then the ProjectSettings folder, followed by the DomainSettings folder and finally the Application Root folder. Once CADplot has found the required file, it will not search any further and will then search for the next file type in the same way.
