It is recommended that the Arup drawing borders are copied and customised to suite the needs of the project. This should allow for a quicker setup and minimise any mistakes.
•Copy the Standard Arup Border files to the Project Borders folder.
•Open the Frame file
•Attach the client border file as a reference file.
•Change the Arup Border file to match the Client Border file
•Detach the Client Border reference file.
•The file name of the frame file can be changed to identify it as an Arup version of the Client border.
•Open the text file.
•Attach the newly created Frame file as a reference file.
•Move the existing Arup attributes around to the appropriate locations in the newly created frame file
•If attributes need to be renamed to match the client specified tag names do this from <element> <tags> <define> (if you do this don't forget to make the changes to the attribute Mappings in the ProjectSettings.txt file) CADtools ProjectWizard attribute Mappings
•Detach the Frame reference file.
•The Mock Border file will only need editing if the Clients outer border was different to the outer border in the original Arup frame
•The rev file will only need editing if the location of the revision information in the client border differs from the original Arup frame
•To edit the rev file open it
•Attach the frame file as a reference file.
•Move the existing Arup attributes around to the appropriate location of the revision information in the newly created frame file.
•If attributes need to be renamed to match the client specified tag names do this from <element> <tags> <define> (if you do this don't forget to make the changes to the attribute Mappings in the ProjectSettings.txt file) CADtools ProjectWizard attribute Mappings
•Detach the frame reference file.
•Edit the project settings.txt file to point to the project folder where the Border files are located & change the names if required.
•Test the place mock border & Drawing sheet tools to make sure they are working.
