Bentley Structural Modeller > Dataset Configuration

CADtools Bentley Structural is configured to retrieve most of it’s configuration from the base dataset location on P: drive with all the other CADtools Microstation data.

As noted in the CADtools Project Configuration manual, a number of Bentley Structural files (such as the drawing rules, and the structural shapes file) are copied into the project area. This ensures that users are presented with the list of the Structural shapes relevant to their project, and that the project setup is generally insulated form any future changes to the CAD standard or other Bentley Structural configuration.
