At this stage, these tools do not process, or create, any Bentley Structural ‘Analyitical’elements, it will only process (or create) the physical elements in the file, i.e ‘Structural elements’, ‘linear forms’ and ‘slab forms’.

Import/Export of ‘Structural’ elements is generally governed by a section mapping table, this allows users to translate between GSA section definitions and the section names used by Bentley Structural modellers.

‘linear forms’ and ‘Slab forms’ will also be imported/exported to GSA, but the elements must have either ‘Slab’ or ‘Wall’ in the Bentley Structural ‘Type’ data field for the export to work.
