The CADtools Quantity ReportV8 + glass.xls spreadsheet has been modified so that it can report on panels of glass which are modelled using the ‘Place Slab’ tool, and then possibly modified using ‘feature cuts’, this includes glass panels which are not rectilinear.

As with any automated Quantity reporting system, care should be taken that the results generated are valid. The seed spreadsheet for reporting glass panels was developed with Bentley’s assistance, but they were careful to point out that it was developed through the support channels, to solve a particular problem, and was not subject to any QA checks.
