Summary:

Temporarily displays the rectangular area referenced by a ‘clip’

 

Description:

The SHOWCLIP command has been created to give the user a visual display of the extent of CLIPs. A useful command when a user needs to check that all the components of the required plotted area in a model are contained within the boundaries of the defined CLIP.

 

Command: SCL

Name of Clip to display <default>: myclip1 <Return>

Clip named myclip1.pwc is now highlighted, the next REDRAW will clear it.

Command:

 

In this example the user required to view the extent of the clip myclip1.pwc. The user would have been presented with a rectangle containing diagonal lines which represented the extents of the clip myclip1. The display would then have been cleared on the next REDRAW.
