CADtools_AutoCAD_Edit_Clone_32

Summary:

Invokes the command which would create the selected entity

Description:

Clone can be used as a fast way to draw in AutoCAD without having to find or even think of the commands required. All you have to do is pick an example entity and Clone will invoke the command which you would normally use to create that entity. For instance, pick a line and the LINE command is invoked, pick a polyline and PLINE is invoked, pick a block and the INSERT command is invoke with the same block as the one you picked.

Clone works with the following AutoCAD objects: Blocks, lines, rays, xlines, mlines, circles, ellipses, arcs, splines, rectangles, polygons, polylines, donuts, text, Mtext, points, solids, 3dfaces, meshes, regions, dimensions (all types), leaders, hatches and viewports. In addition, CADtools Tlines are supported.

Note: Clone can be even more useful when used in combination with All Set
