Summary:
Updates all instances of a block in the drawing with a redefinition from a file.
Description:
This function is to be used when a revision has been made to a block externally and all instances of this block in a different drawing need to be updated. The user can manually select a block in the current drawing, or select a block from the pop-up list. Then the user is asked to select a .dwg file, and this will be used as the new definition for the block. This routine has particular use for blocks with attributes, e.g. a drawing’s title block. Xrefs, or blocks that are dependent on Xrefs, cannot be chosen for this command.
