Bentley Structural Modeller > Introduction

Most steelwork elements are simple to model since they can be defined by 2 points and a section size. This means that the standard Bentley Structural steelwork tools can be used without requiring special modelling techniques to optimise the drawing extraction output.

Simply select the appropriate steelwork modelling tool, select your section size and placement details, fill in any appropriate extended data and choose whether or not the element should be ‘auto-coped’ to any intersecting members.
