CADtools Revit can be installed in one of two ways.

•Download the latest installer from: \\Cadtools\cadtools\Software\Beta\CADtools_Revit\

•or via the appropriate SMS packages (Add/Remove Programs > Add New Programs).

 

The program will be installed to the "C:\Program Files\Oasys\CADtools_Revit\" folder.

Pre-requisites

 

For CADtools Revit work correctly on your PC, the following software already needs to be installed:

 

•Revit 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, or 2015, Architectural, MEP or Structural, in either 32bit or 64bit versions.

•Microsoft .Net Runtime 3.5 or 4.0 (as required by Revit)

•Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007

•Microsoft Office 'Primary Interop Assemblies' for either Office 2003 or 2007.

 

If any of these pre-req's are missing, the installation will proceed, but the application may not work correctly.
