Type: System file

 

Location:

CADplot can use multiple Types.ini files; see Configuration file locations and System file searching. The sub-folder used is:

…\CADplot

 

Description:

This file defines how the drawing will be plotted, via "Printer types". These printer types include sheet size, border size and plot style tables etc. The Queues.ini file references these definitions.

 

Each 'Printer Type' is made up of two parts, firstly the printer type values and secondly, contained in curly brackets, the paper size and configurations values, which can be used with that printer type.

 

The number of 'Printer Type' definitions allowable in one types.ini file is only limited by the client PC's memory. The example below shows two definitions.
