New tools

•New Synchronise Title Block with Excel tool. This provides a way to populate drawing titles from an Excel spreadsheet.

Changes to the CAD standard

•Various updates related to Mechanical symbols, Electrical symbols and Electrical layers. Refer to CadSN_Version_2.4.1_-_Microstation for further information.

Updates to the Civil.XIN file

There have been a number of minor updates to the standard civil.xin file as follows:

•Using the Survey style feature, the version number for the civil.xin file has been noted. This is based on upon the MicroStation version and the Arup release number.

Minor Changes and Bug fixes

•Unlocking of MS_REF_DEFAULTSETTINGS variable so that users can set their own default reference preferences.

•Amendments to the Drawing sheet setup routines to handle ProjectSettings.txt syntax suitable for CADtools AutoCAD

•General (Meters) and General (mm) projects now also include the new Arup InRoads menus

•Fixed a bug related to CADtools attempting to set the model scale if the first file opened was a DWG

•Fixed bug related to the 'Set annotation scale' tool changing elements even though the user clicked 'Cancel'.

•Various minor fixes related to Windows 7 compliance

•Small updates to the GUI:

•Provide access to the CADtools Symbols from the task menu

•Added the Place Note and Edit Text tools to the CADtools 'Text and Dimension' task

•Environmental Symbol library renamed as the Landscape Symbol library

•Included links to the General - Model Symbol library

•Beta version of CIVtools for V8i added
